Located on Senaga Island, a short drive from Naha Airport, POSILLIPO is a Southern Italian restaurant where you can enjoy stunning views of Okinawa’s sea and airplanes.
Not only does it offer delicious cuisine, but also top-notch hospitality, making it the perfect place to celebrate special occasions like anniversaries or dates.
POSILLIPO is situated in Tomigusuku City on Senaga Island. It’s adjacent to tourist spots like “Umikajiterasu” and the famous hot spring hotel “Ryukyu Onsen Senaga Island Hotel.” While there are plenty of parking spaces nearby, it can get quite crowded on weekends, and there are also one-way roads, so drive carefully while following the signs.
As you ascend the elevator and enter through the entrance, you’ll be greeted by the refreshing voice of the staff saying, “Welcome,” along with the magnificent view that POSILLIPO proudly boasts. With the blue sea and sky, and the airport nearby, you can even watch planes taking off and landing. On sunny days, the terrace seats are highly recommended.
POSILLIPO offers a wide variety of dishes on its menu. From Southern Italian-style appetizers, pizzas, pasta, meat dishes to desserts, there are also various cocktails, including non-alcoholic options. There’s something for everyone, from children to adults.
Moreover, the experienced staff will serve your table, so feel free to consult them if you have any questions about the menu or anything else you’d like to know. They’ll gladly recommend the specials of the day or explain the differences in the menu.
Okibabe ordered carpaccio, sweet potato fritters, quattro pizza, and seafood tomato sauce pasta. Everything was delicious, made with fresh ingredients and a variety of spices!
The authentic Neapolitan pizza, baked in a large pot, uses a special blend of flour imported from Italy. The meticulously crafted pasta includes a wide variety, including dry noodles imported from the birthplace of spaghetti, the Graniano region.
It’s also recommended to come with a large group and share while ordering various dishes. By the way, during lunchtime, they offer “Zeppelini,” a pizza dough mixed with seaweed, which you can enjoy with unlimited refills. It’s savory and delicious.
On your way back, you can take a stroll at Umikajiterasu or soak in the hot springs. Be sure to visit with your loved ones.
